Any idea if that is at all related to -s3 or -s3virge? If so, or if there's any doubt, then perhaps one or both of those should stick around a bit longer. There is a separate X driver for -displaylink. Just like with -sisusb it doesn't autoconfigure anyway since X doesn't (yet) probe the USB bus for video devices.
