If David Dawes has touched any files with a copyrightable modification, then it is safe to assume that tainting has taken place, since he made a public declaration on the subject: Everything I do is covered by the 1.1 licence unless I explicitly state otherwise.[1] Marc La France has not, to my knowledge, made a similar declaration, but given his feelings on the relicensing issue[2], I feel the safe course of action is to assume that he feels as David Dawes.
