Hi, Thanks for coming back to me so quickly!
I'll try the "fbdev" driver on the machine in question this coming week and will send an update. If I can't get a high enough screen resolution (the monitor is 1680*1050) or if the performance is particularly poor, I'm prepared to work with someone to dig deeper into this; be it reporting the bug upstream or passing on of logs, etc. Let me know if anything else is required on this. Cheers! ----- Original Message ---- From: Cyril Brulebois <k...@debian.org> To: Stuart Chalmers <s_chalmer...@yahoo.com>; 613...@bugs.debian.org Sent: Sun, 13 February, 2011 15:59:04 Subject: Re: Bug#613212: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Intermittent Screen Lockup on Intel 845G Graphics Chipset Hi, Stuart Chalmers <s_chalmer...@yahoo.com> (13/02/2011): > Newly installed 6.0 system as at today.
