Are you still able to reproduce this? The detail that I was able to reproduce was just an inconsistency between my system- and personal app-defaults. I revisited it last week, and was unable to reproduce the original issue. In between, I did update - but none of the updates seem to be in a likely place to cause this (no X11, Xt, fvwm).
