This is effectivly what I can see after installing the xlibs package. But when stracing some software (like Gaelon, an old one I must admit, but shouldn't it be linked against dynamic libraries ?) they try to open libraries in ".../locales/common" and not ".../locales/lib/common". Even keyboard composition (globaly) was not working at first... But may be I just didn't upgrade all the needed X libraries... Shouldn�'t dependencies has played their trick at this level? I will investigated this a bit more and come back with more information. Thanks for your answer anyway!
