Thanks for your interest in reporting a bug, and helping to improve Debian and Moin! MoinMoin (a.k.a. 'moin' or 'python-moinmoin') 1.x is built upon Python 2. Both are deprecated and no longer maintained in Debian [1]. Moin was released for the last time in Debian 10 'buster' [2] in 2019. It's binary package 'python-moinmoin' doesn't even show up on <packages.debian.org> anymore [3]. It's latest version, on which Debian Wiki still runs, is version 1.9.9 [4]. Since it was removed a long time ago, it shouldn't be possible to file a bug against it. As you've reported before [5], the bug has already been reported to the upstream [6], where it should have been. MoinMoin 2 is under development for around 10 years but wasn't released so far, unfortunately [7]. Since July of 2025 (DebConf 25), Debian has been working on migrating it's wiki from Moin to MediaWiki [8]. Stay tuned. The Wiki Team now has it's own mailing list address [9], which is <[email protected]> (CCed). Also, it has it's own IRC channel #debian-wiki on OFTC (irc.oftc.net). Feel free to participate if you feel like contributing to Debian.
