I agree with Christian that a lot of outdated pages give a bad impression. I'm guilty of many outdated pages in the Norwegian translation, and I have come to the conclusion that it is better to show the English page (without any warning) when the translation is outdated.
If we decide to *hide*, not delete, outdated pages, I don't think translators would object. And, maybe, we could add a small note at the very end saying that there exists an outdated translated version of the page ...
