Hi! I know that this question is nothing special for the Debian webpages, but this is the only place that came to my mind, and I guess other translators have similar problems/wishes.
I don't know gettext indeep, but is there a posibility to have the _old_ string also included as comment with the fuzzy string? That way it is easy to see the differences (or even run it through (w)diff for oneself). If it is not possible to do it with the general gettext tools might it be possible to implement it for our webwml po files at least? Then it would have been easy to unobscure the last dwn footer change, where there were no textual changes but just the link changed. Thanks, and have fun.
