Which makes Apache no less guilty of being contrary to a huge amount of people out there. Changing the servers requires a relatively small addition in the code and a dozen apt-get upgrades; changing the clients requires getting Microsoft to stop using broken default language settings in IE and then get a few million users to upgrade. One would think that in the interest of our users, the former would happen sooner than the latter, but apparently not, and this sucks. :( Not that I am any less responsible for things not going the way they should go than any of us debian-www people, I'm just saying Robin's point of view is reasonable and not something that should get him (her?) flamed. -- 2.
