In fact this is one of the reasons the translation guidelines suggest that translators add such language specific information when translating.
The webmasters do not have direct control over the translations (we can, of course, remove a translation but that is something we don't like to do). It must be so, since we don't speak most of the languages the web site is translated to. As such, we can't force the translations to add extra information.
