"This logo or a modified version may be used by anyone to refer to the Debian project" (for the plain swirl). At the top of the web page, where we have "<plain swirl> Debian", they have "<plain swirl> API". So it is clear to me that they are using the swirl to refer to API, and thus violating the copyright. -- see shy jo
