Sorry to be the negative voice, but.... I've seen this pledge in other places around the internet and it kind of confuses me: "I will publish a blog post on Tuesday 24th March about a woman in technology whom I admire but only if 1,000 other people will do the same." So what if 1000 other people don't do the same? Wouldn't it be better to write, "I will publish a blog post on Tuesday 24th March about a woman in technology whom I admire, it would be awesome if lots of other people do the same!" It just seems ... more positive somehow.
