The process of getting Debian Women going was certainly painful for those who were involved in the project very early on. But I would never describe those efforts as "sorry". They were needed, successful, and are still making a positive impact on Debian, in the existence of this mailing list and other aspects of the Debian Women project. It is a pity that it had to be as painful as it was, though. One could certainly wish for better. You and the other early supporters of Debian Women are absolutely to be congratulated for your efforts.
