I still think that even if such bias does exist (and we have no
controlled environment to test this, so we can't be sure), there
should be no barriers to entry for either gender should an
invidividual wish to break out of their gender role.
I am certain that we can all definitely agree on that.
Also I am inclined to think that most or many such gender biases, assuming they
do exist, will be slight. Two bell curves, one for men and one for women, with
slightly different centres, but mostly overlapping, is the way I think of it.
Which is what d-women is supposed to be. Lowering those barriers.

Thanks! Its certainly going to make a difference around here :) (For one
thing, we're going to have to organise the hundreds of cables of various types
that snake through our flat, and get rid of some of our superflous computers,
bits of computers, and other electronic things that hang around.)
