the packages work fine in debian and I guess they could be a good source of clues on how to package xbmc (boxee is basically xbmc+a skin+some plugins), but I think they are is far from obeying the debian packaging policy. Another big issue is that AFAIK xbmc only works on x86 and support for other architectures is not a priority for upstream. Please corret me if I'm wrong. Can't wait to see xbmc in debian (maybe with a working powerpc port) Cheers, Emme > > I have not looked at them yet myself. > > I guess one thing that will determine this is how close to xbmc development > boxee stays, and how quickly they will incorporate the good changes that > are happening to make xbmc use system libs and more FHS sane. > > Please let me know if you want someone to test or review packages. > > Thanks, > > -- > Matt Taggart > tagg...@debian.org > > > > > > -- > To unsubscribe, send mail to 469397-unsubscr...@bugs.debian.org. > -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
