It's fine with me if it ends up being maintained by the glibc team eventually; I just need unscd now becauser nscd being so hideous is causing me no end of grief. It is a separate upstream, though, so it should be separate from glibc source-wise. I do plan on making it so that it can easily be installed in place of nscd.
