I originally intended to adopt two orphaned packages (goats (1) and ksetisaver (2)), and followed the ITA procedures to the letter. I've since developed a time crunch (a new job) and found that I'm not going to be able to adopt either package. It doesn't look like this case is covered in the "Work-Needing and Prospsective Packages" online HOW-TO document(3).
I've already retitled the wnpp bugs back to "O: xxxxx", but it wasn't clear to me how to re-set the bug's ownership to eliminate my email -- I thought about using the "noowner" control message, but thought there should be a "default" owner for the bug. Thanks (1) http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=290920 (2) http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=283932 (3) http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o -- I was punching a text message into my | Reed Snellenberger phone yesterday and thought, "they need | GPG KeyID: 5A978843 to make a phone that you can just talk | rsnellenberger into."
