Without actually having used debfoster earlier, it seems that it is more intended to be run manually by a user -- pkgsync is intended as a fully automated tool run from cron (ie. an extended cron-apt). Also, pkgsync is probably more lightweight in that it uses aptitude for almost all its logic; debfoster keeps a lot of information `on the side' of apt, it seems. /* Steinar */ -- Homepage: http://www.sesse.net/
