if you've got packaging dependent on zig, or want to help beta test zig on debian, there are packages available here:
https://salsa.debian.org/nickblack/zig/-/jobs/6923961/artifacts/download alternatively, you can add the apt source: deb http://dsscaw.com/repos/apt/debian unstable main i'll push packages here as they change. i've just successfully built ghostty using -Doptimize=ReleaseFast with these packages, and things seem to be more or less working.
