I needed Catch2 as dependency for some other packages I'm working on, and I did not notice this thread until now, so I'm happy to announce that I prepped some packaging already: https://salsa.debian.org/roehling-guest/catch2 IMHO, it makes sense to release the new version under the new name, as upstream did the same. If someone else is in a particular hurry and wants to take over from here, you're welcome to adopt my work (just email me so I know).
