I personally have given up using the original unclutter package due to poor interactions with some WMs. unclutter-xfixes seems to work better *for me*, but I'd certainly like to see a good amount of testing before dropping unclutter in favour if it. > Do you have the packaging somewhere to review and to test > unclutter-xfixes on Debian? Seeing as though unclutter is already in collab-maint, it seems to make sense to put unclutter-xfixes there too... would you be able to request access for me? :-) (my alioth handle is smlx-guest) As a relative n00b to debian packaging, I've followed this wiki page[2] (case #5) for the correct approach to doing a package transition. It would be great if you could check that the Breaks/Replaces/Provides fields look correct.
