SMTP ping is a small tool that performs SMTP server delay, delay variation and throughput measurements. ---- I think this package is useful to test SMTP servers reachability and establish quick metrics. swaks has similar functionality, but lacks the clear and simple metrics interface similar to ping that this package provides.
