It features OpenGL visualisation of networks, simulator integration and graphical analysis tools. SpineML is an XML description format for neural network models, including firing rate models and various types of integrate and fire models. Most models which treat neural systems as a network of point neurons can be described in SpineML. Although SpineCreator on its own can create and modify SpineML models, it is always installed along with the SpineML_2_BRAHMS simulation engine so that it can execute models as well as modify and edit them. The target audience is the neuroscience community. I require a sponsor for this package, and the related packages (brahms, spineml-preflight and spineml-2-brahms).
