This plugin makes Qt applications use the StatusNotifierItem (SNI) protocol for their system tray icons. It does so by turning the system tray icons created with the QSystemTrayIcon class into StatusNotifierItems. A practical use of this is when using a Qt application under Gnome or Mate with multiple monitors and want the Qt application's notification area icon to appear on notification areas on all monitors.
