I'm terribly sorry, yet I did search the wnpp bugs today before I filed 
the ITP. I was searching for parti-all though, so I missed your ITP.

I've done some commits into PAPT SVN repository [1], I see that you & 
Michael Schutte some work in git [2]. Although I prefer git over SVN, 
yet I think it's better to have it maintained under PAPT.

I have a question, is this:

python make_constants_pxi.py wimpiggy/lowlevel/constants.txt 
wimpiggy/lowlevel/constants.pxi

really necessary ? I know that setup.py mentions it in the comments, yet 
the Ubuntu package didn't run that, yet the build is successful and the 
package works.
