Thanks for your interest and offering your help! To be honest, I'm not sure about what needs to be done at the moment. The Debian packaging is currently available in collab-maint, though, so please feel free to do work in there (and / or send it to me as patches -- whatever your prefer). I'm hoping to jump on board in the very near future … Co-maintainers would be very welcome, of course.
