Ok. I was making the point your hypothetical distribution problems were due to the license and independent of the software. I doubt that topological issues (in the license vs. outside the license) are interesting. More generally, real, concrete issues [where all the details are nailed down] are easier to talk about than abstract hypothetical issues [where many details do not exist and therefore can't be known].
