Thanks, excellent info, I had no idea servethehome does that kind of benchmarks. I dug up the drive in question, it's a Kingston NV2. Bottom of the barrel cheap, there's a review at https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/kingston-nv2-ssd/ where they say sustained write speed is about 240 MB/s. That's about what I got, if memory serves.
