I guess that would depend on how the device measures it. An ordinary mouse should give you not much less than the shelf life. BTW when you take multiple cells out of a device, it's always worth checking each one individually. They don't necessarily contain the same charge: usually one goes flat before the others. I use an old single-cell toothbrush for testing: the speed tells you the charge that's left. When they merely hum, they're flat. Battery testers usually don't provide enough load for a realistic test. > i replace 2 AA cells anyway, it works now With new or used?
