This is a classic example of bad capacitors in the device. Obtain an ESR
meter, learn how to use it, learn how to solder, and replace any electrolytic
capacitor that reads over 1 ohm of ESR. Should fix it right up.
I may do that as a project sometime, meanwhile it's doing good work as
t.v. or combined with t.v. good for Zoom work except I'm not keen
on Zoom, it's mostly for work.
So some day the capacitors will blow I guess. Replacement lappie comes
tomorrow.
