so far, agreed, i poked at it a bit the other day to see if MATE would work with the roughly (user-@1000,etc) systemd unit approach but that didn't accomplish anything i could tell. no more time this week for such journeys and exploritations... but i'll continue reading along as i get time as the topic is interesting and convoluted which are the best sort of puzzles. :) songbird
