My hunch would be that something's rotten in the state of Sid. Cheers [1] Never tried it, but "setxkbmap -option keypad:pointerkeys" reportedly gives you a keyboard mouse: setxkbmap -option keypad:pointerkeys. Alternatively, you can always log into a Linux terminal and talk to your X like so: DISPLAY=:0 xinput --list --long (or whatever your DISPLAY var under X is). -- tomás
