Have you looked at the Debian wiki? Because the Nvidia pages do correctly show how to set up optimus five different ways. https://wiki.debian.org/NVIDIA%20Optimus The default render offload option works perfectly and I wished I bothered to try that first instead of fighting constantly with Bumblebee, which is both slow and brittle by comparison.
