+1 sometimes, but sometimes they offer a much easier way to do things with less learning required -- there is a tradeoff (at least for some of us in some cases) -- ease of use vs. ease of describing to someone else. It would be nice if there was a simpler way to describe things -- maybe if all GUI actions had a corresponding way to invoke from the CLI, and then the description might start with the CLI command(s).
