"Reply all" puts the list as CC, individual as "To" --- however, the `simple' "Reply" puts *only* the list as recipient. This mail, for instance, was sent with "Reply", and at least I believe it's sent only to the list, and not you as an individual (as well).
So I don't need to delete the individual; I just do "Reply", and it goes (only) to the list.
Is this how it works for you as well?
Guess it's an "Outlook-thing"; isn't that where the "Reply all" goes to the list (only)? It /is/ more logical this way though, "Reply" goes to list, "Reply all" goes to list and individual ...

has specifically requested a CC. In Thunderbird this must still be fixed manually, because a Reply All gives you the individual as the TO and the list as the CC. So you you would need to delete the individual and change the list from CC to TO.
