Ok, I noticed that simple-scan uses sane / xsane, so I didn't have high hopes (as h-node found nothing compatible), but I installed it anyway on my Buster system -- no luck: ~"No scanner found".
You might have some luck on the web. My scanner came with Windows and Mac software, but there aere howTos telling how to get it going on Linux. Simple Scan is working perfectly for me now. -- Glenn English
