some buttons and a scroll bar, all the "highlight" and "foreground" attributes seem to have the same colors, while all the "background" attributes seem the have the same color. Maybe I should manually change all the "highlight" entries to some other color. But if that should work, in which file should the changes be made? It seems like the "xrdb -query" gets its data from multiple, but unnamed, files or running services. 4. I forgot to mention in my original email that I do get a boat load of xsession errors (file ~/.xsession-errors) which I've gotten used to over the years after getting no help from the sources I tried.
