Stretch will be supported for at least one year after the release of buster, so there will most likely be a few more point releases, even after the release of buster. For jessie the last point release was 8.11 according to: https://www.debian.org/releases/jessie By that time stretch was already at 9.4 according to my debian-announce archive.
