Nope; neither is installed. This is a fairly new net install with no tasksel stuff, either, just base plus X and the apps I use.
IIRC the kernel tries to autoprobe your IDE driver, but sometimes fails and loads many drivers until one 'fits'. Try to explicitly set your IDE module and see if this mass loading of modules persists.
