I do not know if it is already in production or if it is still in a beta stage, but open-edx has switched from Vargrant to Docker. - there is a *native* version of open-edx for Ubuntu 16.04 - there is a older *native* version of open-edx for an older Ubuntu - *Fullstack* is deprecated from Hawthorn release - *Devstack* is vitualized or contained (Vargrant before, Docker now) - *Manual* means you adapt the *native* method to your needs to install and run on your OS, counting on your abilities because it is not supported by open-edx nor your OS provider
