No, it did not. I added these already. It is strange, It is not the first time, I changed to encrypted filesystems, but this time, it did not work. It is clear: thhe encrypted filesystems are not decrypted at boot, and thus cannot be mounted correctly. There is no problem with fstab and crypttab, as I backuped the working ones and tested them, too. IMO the problem is either with initrd or the root-partition itself. For testing purposes I backuped the whole files on another computer, so I can format and restore the data of the root-partition, too, if needed. But I can not imagine, what should be wrong with that partition, besides, it could be an error in MBR or in the filesystem itself (just an idea...) Thank you for your ideas. > > Cheers, > David.
