The point is that the people involved in the processes we do have: the developers, the technical committee; should be considering users first and foremost with their actions. I have no reason to doubt that the tech-ctte did exactly that. However, if you think there's an impedence mismatch between SC ยง4 and the processes we have in practice: for example, if you think there should be some mechanism whereby non-DD users can have a say - then please propose something concrete.
