It (Firefox/Iceweasel) will already do that, if you let it (viz: flash).
I've not read any of the relevant articles, but presume that if you
visit a site that needs you to download the DRM blob you'll be offered
the opportunity: An opportunity you're at liberty to decline if you
wish.
