Ouch. I assume you mean "no Ethernet interface". Note that it
is possible to network over other connections (serial, parallel,
Firewire, etc.).
No "ouch" at all. It is by design. The only external items
connected are a mouse and an occasional USB drive for
intentional file transfers. My normal install also skips the
network install step. Some in this group have accused me of not
being security conscious.I just take a more brute force approach
on the machine in question.
