I agree with this, assumed that
- there should be a bootable DVD drive available
- there shouldn't be issues with downloads
- the architecture should be 32bit instead of 64bit
The DVD download is much larger than the various CD installers. All that
it gives you is a larger repository of software that will shortly be
obsolete. Downloading a CD image will more likely be trouble free just
because there is less time for something to go wrong.
The architecture downloaded should match your machine. If you have a
64bit computer, don't cripple it with a 32bit kernel.
