If there shouldn't be a really good reason not to download using a browser such as e.g. IE (InternetExplorer), I recommend not to use Linux like stuff, such as http://www.cygwin.com/ (I suspect it will ship with wget). Just a click using a browser is enough to download the first or all CD ISO(s) for x86 (32bit) or x86_64/amd64 (64bit).
