How does the crash looks like? Is the system rebooting? Does is freeze
or hang? At first I would  connect a serial console to the affected
system and log the output, maybe there are any related hints. If it's
nothing in the logs and the console as well make yourself familiar with
kdump, this will help you getting a crashdump file which can be
analysed.
