Wheezy AMD64 Binary 1 20110902- 03:20.
Machine is an Acer Aspire 1 model 522 and uses the AMD Fusion C50
CPU/GPU which is pretty new.
Installs off USB drive OK (as far as I can see). but after booting from
grub there is a message regarding a memory conflict and after a few more
messages the screen goes to random noise: all TTYS. There is a hint in
among the noise that the graphical login screen is present. Tried
recovery mode same deal.
I've got the logs off with a USB live disk.
The following live (USB) disks have been tried
32 bit Ubuntu and Kbuntu 11.04 work fine.
Knoppix 6.4.4 works but the aspect ratio is out.
Knoppix 6.7.0 fails.
I haven't got into grub to get to a terminal.

If anyone wants to hold my hand for some testing that's fine but I class
myself as a persistent timid tinkerer; but I do have a machine.
