I do that in this way:

$ cat /var/log/dpkg.log

Here you will see all that changes you have been made and you could
see the previous version of that packages.

Select only that packages that are related to your problem

Go to http://snapshot.debian.org and find the old versions and download they.

Use, at your won risky, no warranty,:

# dpkg -i package

to downgrade. Downgrade is not supported by Debian team.

I have need to use --force-depends to install some packages. This is a
risk and could be dangerous for your system.
