Short Answer: No. Long Answer: Sure. Do the research to determine how to map Ubuntu package names to LMDE package names. There may be some cases where multiple Ubuntu packages map to a single LMDE package, or vice versa, or multiple-to-multiple, or the mapping might vary depending on the version of the package. Then, write a script to preform these substitutions on the dpkg-selections- file. >If not, how best to prepare or react?
